EA has sent over a new video regarding the new paid DLC for Dante's Inferno, titled Trials of St. Lucia. This developer video shows how to navigate through the lobby of trials whether it be submitted by EA or created by the community and offers the ability to play through in two player co-op. Trials of St. Lucia will be available on April 29th, 2010 worldwide for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Dante's Inferno | A review
I'd like to begin my review of Visceral Game's Dante's Inferno
first addressing the one complaint that seething fanboys seem to have with the game; the fact that it follows a path set by Sony's God of War series. It follows that path, an epic action/hack-n-slash/platformer, without question, akin to how 2009's Shadow Complex slapped a fresh coat of paint on 1997's Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (which, was created as almost a direct copy of 1994's Super Metroid). Castlevania SOTN is still lauded by gamers as being one of the best 2D games available, especially in the highly 3D world of the first PlayStation. Shadow Complex, was one of the top selling XBLA titles from last summer that publicly spoke of it's Metroid/Castlevania influence.
I didn't get the same vibe from the above games, as I do today with the Inferno/GOW showdown. Perhaps it's due to GOW having its third-installment due out to gamers next month, I am not sure.

Dante's Inferno Super Bowl Spot ; Pre-Super Bowl
Be the first on your block to check out the upcoming 30-second Super Bowl spot for the exciting Dante's Inferno set to the musical track; "Ain't no sunshine when she's gone". This is EA's first foray into the highly lucrative (and highly expensive) Super Bowl time slot. Other than the internet, you will not be able to see this anywhere until Sunday, February 7th. Don't risk not being able to see it, if CBS doesn't give the green-light! You can check it out right here.
Enjoy
Dante's Inferno is available February 9th on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and the PSP

Dante's Inferno demo release dates announced, sorry Xbox owners

The day before baby Jesus himself was born sounds like a great day to release the demo for a game about hell sounds like the perfect time, right? EA has announced that Dante's Inferno, Gates of Hell, demo will be available on December 10th for the Playstation 3 and December 24th for the Xbox 360.

The demo is to be a prelude to the journey players will get on February 9th, 2010. In the demo, Dante's returns home to Florence to dustcover that his love, Beatrice, has been murdered and kidnapped by the shadow form of Lucifer. Dante swears to rescue her, journeying through the nine gates of hell to battle the undead, unholy demon bosses, and Death himself.

Dante's Inferno demo brings you one circle of Hell in December

Visceral Games announced today that the demo for Dante's Inferno, will be available to download in December. The demo is said to include the entire first level of the game, which will introduce the game's hero, the hack-n-slash combat, and two cinematic movies. I am almost giddy from this announcement as most demo's seem to be too short but this time we get one whole circle to play through, then look forward to another nine to dominate in February 2010.
