Being someone that missed the bus for The Escape from Butcher Bay, I am rather torn on which side of the fence to be on regarding the new entry, Assault on Dark Athena.
The Sci-Fi shooter was originally released from Starbreeze Games just short of five years ago and now we have a new release to look forward to...kinda.
The new addition to series, Assault on Dark Athena, which we can expect to see in the beginning of April, brings back the original entry with polished graphics for those of us that were unable to enjoy it previously. Along with remaking Escape from Butcher Bay, we now get an expansion and the ability of multiplayer gameplay helping convince us to buy a game that is available from GameStop at the low, low price of $4.99.
So tell me, does this quasi new entry to the series warrant the $59.99 price tag?
