Well here they are, in no particular order
10. Alan Wake
Alan Wake, a bestselling writer, hasn't managed to write anything in over two years. Now his wife, Alice, brings him to the idyllic small town of Bright Falls to recover his creative flow. But when she vanishes without a trace, Wake finds himself trapped in a nightmare. Word by word, his latest work, a thriller he can't even remember writing, is coming true before his eyes. He somehow knows it's his story without any memory of writing it.
Now this game comes from the minds behind Max Payne, Remedy Entertainment, it looks to be highly awaited title. The game is pegged as a "Psychological action thriller" and is inspired by writings of Stephen King, the television shows Lost and Twin Peaks. This is due to be released on the Xbox 360 with a release date currently in May of 2010.
9.Heavy Rain
This game is brought to you by Quantic Dream. This is the company that brought you Indigo Prophecy, a sleeper hit for the PS2. This game was created in the essence of being a good movie. Director David Cage said that if the game was a movie, it would be, "very dark film noir thriller with mature themes, without any supernatural elements, and that "the real message [of the game] is about how far you're willing to go to save someone you love."
The graphics on this game are stunning in their beauty. If you ever played Indigo Prophecy, you will now what to expect. The action sequences will require a precise button sequence that will change from scene to scene. If you fail a scene, when you replay it, the button sequences will not be the same.
You will play through the story as various characters, all on hunt for the Origami Killer.
8. God of War III
You reprise your role as Kratos, The hack em, slash em, main character. The game play will not vary from its winning schematics.
The game will take place moments after the events of God of War II with Kratos on Gaia's back eager to destroy Olympus. Story unfolds, as the previous games in the franchise, with quick pace as you control Kratos.
The graphics in this game are stellar looking, I for one am looking forward to this game as I am sure are all God of War fans. The game is set to release in March of 2010.
7. Super Mario Galaxy 2
"It's a-me, Mario" Ahh yes, the familiar sound of our favorite Italian plumber is back. Mario will return to the galaxy with the help of Yoshi. The game play will remain the same as the first, with the inclusion of new enemies, and new power up suits.
You will be riding Yoshi, who can use his tongue to swing across gaps, and similar to Super Mario Sunshine, depending on what fruit Yoshi eats, will give different power ups. Shigeru Miyamoto stated that the team had originally planned just to do variations on the original game's planets, but over time thought of all new ideas. The game is said to have 95-99% new features, with the rest being previous features such as the Bee Suit, but there will be no returning galaxies.
Not much is known about the plot to this one, and with no concrete release date, all we can hope for is that the game does not get delayed and it is, in fact, released in 2010.
6. Dante's Inferno
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to storm the halls of hell? Well wait no further as Dante's Inferno will make its way to your game systems this February. You will play as Dante on a holy mission to save the women he loves, Beatrice. The game is an action-adventure done in the mold of God of War. The story of this game is written by Will Rokos, if you don't know him, he is the man who wrote Monster's Ball Starring Drew Barrymore and Billy Bob Thornton.
This game is very loosely based on the first book in the Divine Comedy written by Dante Aligheri. The differences are, in Inferno, Dante was depicted as a weak being scared at the sight of demons, in the game, Dante is depicted as a Knight in the Third Crusade and is strong and thrashes the holy hell outta the demons.
Look for this game on 2-9-2010 available on the PS3 and XBOX 360.
5. Bioshock 2
Are you ready to return to Rapture? I know I sure am. This game was originally slated for 2009 but it was pushed back with hope of giving the game even more attention that it really deserves. Bioshock was a surprise hit that brought people to a underwater utopia named Rapture. For any and all who have not played the first one, I will not ruin the game for you. All I can say is play it and be amazed by the storyline and just how fun the game really is.
In this game you will be playing as "Subject Delta" Yes that's right folks, you get to take on the role of a big daddy himself. You get to use the drill and you are granted with Free Will. So this game should be totally kick-ass.
The main new feature in Bioshock 2 is the multiplayer. It will feature 5 different team based modes as well as 6 characters to choose from. Oh ya, how does Big Daddy suite power ups sound to you? Well they are included in this game. Set for release on 2-9-2010 on the PS3, XBOX 360, and Windows.
4. Mass Effect 2
Ready to reprise your role as Commander Sheppard? I sure as hell am. The first Mass Effect game was a Science Fiction masterpiece. With a story worthy of being called a space opera, and action fit for a blockbuster movie, it should come as no surprise that people are pretty pumped for the second part of this planned trilogy. This game will pull right from your saved data on your 360 to pick up literally, right where the last game left off. Keep your eye out for this one in the first quarter of 2010.
3. Final Fantasy XIII
Final Fantasy as been linked to great game play, great storyline, and all around great game. Now mind you, for a game that has spawned countless platforms, there are a few stinkers in the bunch. However, don't let that scare you as this game is bound to be epic. You will take on the character, Lightning. Time will be set in the future will an environment rich with technology and colors. This is set to be an amazing game that is set to come out in March.
As is the norm in most Final Fantasy games, you will be introduced to a new band of characters and places. Though it will borrow some from previous games giving loyal fans something new, but something they are familiar with also. This will be available on PS3 and XBOX 360.

Also, Gran Turismo 5 will be the first game in the franchise to offer online racing capable of supporting 16 racers.
1. Halo: Reach
Even non-gamers have heard of the Halo Franchise. Bungie struck gold with the first Halo game and has helped shape the console FPS genre. Every Halo release, since the first game, has been a mass phenomenon spanning Halo Fever. Big releases, massive marketing for the game, big release parties. A Halo release is like a Hollywood party where the common folk can venture inside.
This game is a prequel to the first Halo game and takes place during the battle of Reach. The game will follow Nobel team, a United Nations Space Command (UNSC) special operations unit composed of six SPARTAN supersoldiers. The gamer will command an unnamed lieutenant will the call sign, Nobel 6.
