The Avenger, brought to you by a peripheral company called N-Control is a little intimidating at first. This add on to your controller is a way to use all of the buttons on your controller without removing your thumbs from the joysticks. At their E3 booth, the demo was with Modern Warfare 2 and took a couple times to get the hang of but low and behold, it works...surprisingly well. I got the chance to take one of these units home with me from the show and after seeing how it helped my FPS game it was time to see how it works with my favorite genre...the racer. I threw in DiRT 3 and literally after two races, I was shaving time and loving how it took less effort. The downside, though there really isn't much of one, but trying to get the hang of a controller not equipped with the Avenger.
